Meet the Doctor

Dr. Jihye Kim is a dedicated and compassionate general dentist committed to providing high quality dental care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. With a strong focus on evidence-based dentistry and collaboration with specialists, Dr. Kim strives to help patients to achieve long term oral health and confident smiles through personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique condition and needs. 

Dr. Kim obtained her B.S(Bachelor of Science) in biology from State University of New York at Stony Brook. Then she continued her dental medicine education at State University of New York at Buffalo. She obtained her DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) in 2012 with Lasher Scholarship, Clinical Achievement Scholarship, and Class of 1952 Scholarship.

Dr. Kim has been providing dental care for patients of all ages. She has taken hundreds hours of continuing education courses including Advanced implant education, periodontics, endodontics, sleep apnea in addition to general dentistry courses.

  • Routine dental cleaning (Prophy)

    A prophy (dental prophylaxis) is a routine, preventive dental cleaning to remove plaque, tartar and stains from teeth. It is recommended every 6 months for patients with healthy gums to prevent periodontal disease, cavities and tooth loss.

  • X rays, exams, Fluoride treatment

    Dental care includes X-rays to see hidden problems, regular exams to check teeth and gums, and fluoride treatments to make teeth stronger and prevent cavities.

  • Deep cleaning (Scaling/ Root planing)

    Deep cleaning, also called scaling and root planing, is a non surgical dental procedure to treat gum disease by removing plaque and tartar (also called calculus) from above and below the gum lines and smoothing tooth roots to allow gums to reattach, 

  • Gum surgery

    Gum surgery is a dental procedure performed to treat severe gum disease, repair damaged gums, or reshape gum tissue to improve oral health and protect the teeth.

  • Teeth whitening

    Teeth whitening is a cosmetic procedure that removes stains and discoloration from teeth. It helps brighten your smile and boost confidence.

  • Composite restoration/bonding & Cosmetic treatment

    Composite restoration, or bonding, repairs chipped, decayed, or damaged teeth using tooth-colored resin.

  • Crowns, bridges

    Crowns and bridges are dental restorations that restore damaged or missing teeth. Crowns cover and protect a weakened tooth, while bridges fill gaps by anchoring artificial teeth to neighboring natural teeth.

  • Dental extractions

    Dental extraction involves removing a tooth from its socket in the jawbone. It is usually recommended when a tooth is severely decayed, damaged, infected, or impacted causing problems to patients. 

  • Oral appliances

    Oral appliances are custom-fitted devices designed to protect, align, or improve oral health.

    Examples of appliances are night guard, sport guards, orthodontic retainers, sleep apnea oral appliances.

    Bone grafting is a surgical procedure used to promote the body's natural bone-making process by filling gaps, providing structural support, and stimulating tissue growth to restore bone strength and rigidity.

Our dental office is a fee-for-service practice, which means that payment is made directly to us at the time of service rather than through insurance company contracts.

This allows us to focus completely on You—not on insurance limitations.

  • Your insurance still works

    Even though we are an out-of-network practice, we still accept most PPO insurances and you can still use your out-of-network benefits. We are happy to provide claim forms and submit claims on your behalf.

  • Higher quality care

    We use premium materials, advanced technology, and allow the time needed to provide excellent care—without cutting corners to meet insurance pricing.

  • No insurance restrictions

    We are not bound by insurance company rules, fee caps, or treatment limitations. Dr. Kim and You will decide the best treatment option for you.

    We will provide a clear fee estimate before treatment begins, so there are no surprises. In case of large treatment case, payment plan is also available.
